From its inception, Albert Park College has placed great importance on the creative and performing arts.

We have one of the largest instrumental music programs of any government school in Victoria with numerous orchestras and choirs, as well as many student-run bands.

Our drama students perform original plays, and excitement builds as our annual student musical and dance performances draw near. It is not surprising that many students go on to be professional performers across many fields of the arts.

Our 'Artist in Residence' Program brings to the college professional artists who share their knowledge and experiences with our senior arts students, and provide great practical knowledge.

In one of its most ambitious projects yet, the college has begun work on building a world class performing arts precinct in Gasworks Arts Park. The new precinct, the college's sixth campus, will be dedicated to developing the creative abilities of performers and industry professionals of the future.

The new campus is due to open in 2024.
