Community Partnerships
Albert Park College prides itself on being a genuine community school.
We were born out of a passionate campaign led by local families to provide a great public education for their children and, little over a decade later, we have quickly become an integral part of the community.
Our uniforms are a strong visual presence on the local streets and our campuses have radiated out from Danks St into South Melbourne, Albert Park and Port Melbourne.
Our curriculum is inspired by our location on the bay and the environmental and creative interests of our parents.
Famous local community and sporting organisations as well as businesses are partnering with us to supply classroom space, sports facilities, mentoring, advice, inspiration and financial support.
These community partnerships mean a great deal to us and we want to develop and deepen them further. If you would like to chat about a potential partnership, please contact our strategic partnerships officer on 8695 9000.
A school built by and for the community
Albert Park College has grown enormously from its earliest days. We couldn't have done it without the significant financial contributions of our parents.
Those of you who have been inside our wonderful campuses will testify to how beautiful they are. The striking designs and the quality of the fitouts would not have been possible without the generous financial contributions of local parents, residents and businesses.
Our 1000 Club and other sources of donations have provided significant amounts to put the vital finishing touches on our building projects, ensuring our students can learn in impressive and welcoming environments.
Help us continue the building
We are looking for your support to continue to build a great school.
Our latest ambitious project is a new Youth Arts Precinct in Gasworks Park as a home for APC's dramatic and performance arts programs. Construction is due to start soon, and a fundraising campaign to raise $5 million to fit out the campus has begun.
We would be delighted to discuss this project further with you, including how you can help. Please contact our strategic partnerships officer on 8695 9000.
