Albert Park College’s annual Lit Fest is a celebration of the written and spoken word.
Professional authors, poets and philosophers come together to share their work with the College community, engaging with APC students, staff and the wider community in an event designed to spark conversation and passion for all things literary!
Lit Fest begins each year with Book Week, a week long activity-based program running during school hours. Lit Fest opens to the community for our Friday evening keynote event and the launch of the APC Student Anthology. Saturday morning features presentations and interviews with contemporary writers and commentators, as well as the chance to find a bargain at the Albert Park Rotary Book Fair.
We are proud that the event provides an opportunity for us to give back to the community, with a percentage of funds raised donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
We warmly welcome supporters, sponsors and volunteers to participate in our event. Please contact the College if you would like further information about how you can help.
We look forward to seeing you at Lit Fest!
